GAce-FLTD is a model from the Quilted Sapele series and it comes in a single-cut grand auditorium shape. Body of this model is made of quilted sapele back and sides with European spruce sound board on top. Quilted sapele is rare and exclusive wood. It has fantastic tonal properties and it`s special feature is added warmth to already strong low end. Exceptional beauty of the grain is also very valuable feature. European spruce, on the other side offers strong attack and tonal properties somewhat similar to cedar. Sound board on this grand auditorium is equipped with ivoroid binding and single circle rosette. There is no pickguard on this model`s specs list. Also, there is no contoured armrest, which Presentation series models have. Bridge section on GAce-FLTD is equipped with Taylor`s regular ebony bridge with bone string saddle and ebony string pins. On the opposite side of the 25-1/2" scale, Taylor installs a 1.75" wide string nut, also made of bone. Electronics installed on this model feature Tylor`s own Expression System. Neck is made of tropical mahogany and it has a 14th fret dovetail joint. On the other end, headstock is attached with a scarf joint. Fingerboard is traditionally made of ebony and it has 20 frets with solitair inlays. MSRP for this model is set at $4,298
