455ce is a jumbo-shaped guitar with single cutaway design and Taylor`s own Expression electronics installed within the body cavity. This model, like every other model in this series is based upon a certain series of guitars from 100-900 series section of the catalog, which serve as sort of standard series. In standard 400 series, there are no jumbos, though the 455ce Left Handed is based upon the 400 series specs list. This particular jumbo is available in natural color with high gloss finish. Body is made of ovangkol back and sides and spruce top. Bridge is made of ebony and it features twelve string pins behind a plastic saddle. Neck on this jumbo is made of mahogany and it features a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
