Taylor`s main acoustic-electric range is made up of nine core series named 100 to 900. 100 is, naturally, the cheapest one (starts at $700) and 900 the most expensive one (its models start at $4,899). 800 series starts at $3,499 and is advertised as Taylor`s flagship line (with 900 series being more of a boutique line of custom guitars). 810e is an acoustic-electric dreadnought, outfitted with an all-solid body (Indian rosewood back/sides, Sitka spruce top, maple binding, abalone rosette), a mahogany neck (satin finish, Taylor contour, standard 14th fret dovetail joint), a 20-fret bound ebony fingerboard (Element inlays, 1.75" Tusq nut, 25.5" scale), an ebony bridge, ES2 electronics and Taylor`s own nickel-plated tuners. Natural is the only available color option. Tayor also offers Brazilian rosewood back and sides which cost additional $6,000.
