Taylor is an American brand with huge reputation in the world of acoustic guitars. They are known for high quality guitars, ultra exclusive limited edition models and fantastic experiments, such as this model, the 9 string. It is a regular acoustic-electric guitar with single cutaway grand symphony body. The unusual thing about it is the fact that this model is half way between a regular six-stringer and a twelve-stringed guitar. It`s second, third and fourth strings feature second course strings. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce top. Bridge is made of ebony and electronics section is made up of Taylor Expression System. Tropical mahogany neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. It is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
