The Builder`s Edition takes Taylor`s acoustics to the next level. It is a three-model series, centered around the Grand Auditorium body shape. All three models employ the new, progressive V bracing pattern, beveled tops & cutaways, and the fancy "silent satin" finish. Builder`s Edition K14ce is the series` flagship model, coming in at $4,999. K14ce rocks a single-cut grand auditorium body w/beveled top & cutaway, standard 14th fret neck joint, Taylor`s own Expression 2 pickup/preamp unit, and premium hardware. It is available in Kona Burst and Natural options, with both sporting gold hardware, abalone/paua binding, and abalone inlays. Other notable features include a standard-shaped mahogany neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony (25-1/2" scale, Spring Vine inlays), fixed ebony bridge, and Taylor tuners.
