GS Mini models have conquered the Mini segment of the market in no time and have become the number one choice for traveling players. Though smaller than their full-sized counterparts, Mini Taylors offer an amazing tone, sustain and projection. GS Mini-e Koa limited edition model is no exception to this rule. For this fall limited edition catalog, GS Mini-e Koa is fit with a koa body, instead of it` standard set of tonewoods. Laminated koa is found on the back and side panels, while the top is made of solid koa. Black binding and a discreet sound hole rosette are the only decorations on the body of this travel-sized Taylor. On the top, there`s the standard belly-contoured bridge made of ebony. It rocks the standard NuBone saddle and second generation Taylor Expression pickup. Pickup is paired with the second generation Expression preamp, which is mounted onto the side of the body. Neck on this mini six-stringer is made of tropical mahogany (a standard feature for all Taylor acoustics) and features the regular 14th fret joint. On it`s top, there is a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Taylor tuners wrap the specs list.
