Small Body Acoustic-Electric Guitars by The Loar
Loar`s Small Body series offers a wide range of models inspired by the golden age of acoustic guitars. Since it`s introduction, this series grows and gets more and more fans with it`s straight forward approach and great value placed within the affordable price tags. This series was updated for 2012 with two new models, and they were both unveiled at the NAMM Show earlier this year. One of these models is LO-215, a parlor-sized non-cutaway acoustic guitar with a body made of maple back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is bound in multiple layers of ivory binding. It also features a firestripe plastic pickguard and a beautiful abalone rosette. This model comes in sunburst color option with gloss finish. The bridge upon the body is made of rosewood and equipped with belly shape, white string pins and saddle. LO-215 is a fully acoustic guitar and it features no preamps, pickups, or mics installed. The neck is made of mahogany and features thick C contour with a dovetail joint at the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and sports 19frets with dot position inlays and 1-11/16" wide bone nut. Gold plated vintage style tuners and 25-2/5" scale complete the list of specs for LO-215. The MSRP is set at $374.99.
