Flame Maple sub series from the WD series also has it`s own Deluxe section. It is customary for the divisions of the WD series to feature one acoustic and one acoustic-electric guitar, but Flame Maple Deluxe has two of each. WD45S is an acoustic variant with non-cutaway design. This dreadnought comes in natural color and it`s finished in satin. Back and sides are made of flamed maple and are paired with a spruce top. Abalone is the material of choice for the binding and sound hole rosette. In the bridge section Washburn installs a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it comes with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets with dot inlays.
