The mighty F range brings forth a huge array of acoustic and acoustic-electric models. These are, pretty conveniently, sorted by their body shapes and their construction type (acosutic/amplified). G models are regular dreadnoughts, J models are slope shoulder dreads (dubbed Medium/Original Jumbo type by Yamaha), and S models are small-body guitars (also named Small Body by Yamaha). Thus, the FS series brings fully acoustic small body models. FS700 is currently the most affordable non-electric small-body guitar, with $325.00 MSRP. Both the Natuarl and Brown Sunburst color options cost the same. Main features include nato back & sides, spruce soundboard, nato neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (dot inlays, 1-11/16" urea string nut, 23-5/8" radius, 25-9/16" scale), fixed rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
