Aria`s Ukulele series is packed with six affordable models, five standard (tenor & soprano) and one with banjo-shaped body. Mahogany dominates the scene, as most of the bodies are made of this warm-sounding, good-looking material. Maple, nato, basswood, rosewood and okume also appear throughout the lineup. ACU-1 is a fully acoustic uke with four-string construction, 14th fret neck joint and minimalist styling. Back, sides and top of the body are all made of mahogany (laminated, of course), while the neck is made of okume (a substitute neck wood, used to replace mahogany). The neck is topped with an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.37" bone nut, dot inlays). Fixed rosewood bridge (with a bone saddle) and a set of four open-geared tuners complete the specs list.
