Historic Thinline Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Historic Thinline series is made for players who love the vintage-styled dreadnought guitars. There are two models in current lineup, J-35 and J-45 and both come with solid wood construction. Also, both are fully acoustic steel-stringers. J-35 is very similar to the 45 model, with few notable differences. It has a 12th fret joint, sound hole is moved a bit back towards the waist and bridge is also moved back a little bit. Body is made of Indian rosewood side and back panels and Sitka spruce sound board. On the inside of the body Atkin installs scalloped prewar bracing. Neck is made of mahogany, it features standard contour and gloss finish. Rosewood is the matrial of choice for the bridge and 19-fret fingerboard. Nickel-plated Kluson tuners wrap the specs list.
