Historic Thinline Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Historic Thinline Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Historic Thinline series offers a pair of slope-shoulder dreadnoughts with fully acoustic construction and luxurious decorations. Thinline stands for shallower bodies. J-45`s regular depth is 125mm, but this thinline has a 105mm deep body. Unlike the J-35, this model has 14th fret dovetail joint and regularly positioned sound hole. Body of this model is made of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce. Rosewood is used for the back and sides, while the spruce is found on top. All tone woods for Thinline series are solid and hand-picked by Atkin`s luthiers. Mahogany neck is Atkin`s favorite and it comes with standard contour with glossy finish in the back. On it`s top, a 19-fret fingerboard is installed. Both the bridge and neck are made of rosewood.
