Mahogany Series Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Dreadnought, the king of the steel-stringed acoustic guitar, a model without which there is no catalog, is also featured in luxurious Atkins Mahogany series. It shares vast majority of specs with other models, though the body and neck measures are unique and each model has it`s own. Mahogany Dreadnought is a non-cutaway guitar with fully acoustic construction, for Atkins Guitars opted to exclude the electronics from the Mahogany series. Body of this model is made of solid tone woods. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is used on the top as the sound board. Bridge section on this model includes a standard belly-contoured bridge made of ebony. Fingerboard is also made of ebony and it has 20 frets with 1.69" wide bone nut. Neck is made of mahogany.
