Americana Acoustic Guitars by Avalon Guitars
Avalon Guitars is a brand of exclusive acoustic guitars hailing from Northern Ireland. Their catalog is made exclusively of expensive steel-stringed acoustics (and a few acoustic-electrics, as well as two nylon-stringed models). All models in Avalon catalog are hand-built in Newtonards, Northern Ireland.
Americana D300A is a beautiful, non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with sloped shoulders, 14th fret neck joint, solid tonewood construction and traditional golden-era-inspired styling. The body of this regal dread is made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. Sycamore binding and abalone rosette grace the body. Mahogany neck is generously wide and thick and has a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on its top, as well as a traditional 3+3 headstock in the front. Avalon AXE bracing, ebony bridge and gold-plated tuners complete the specs list. D300A starts at $5,950 and takes 6-8 weeks to be made.
