L9-E is a member of the newly established Leona series. Leona line deals with steel-stringed classical guitars with acoustic-electric construction, premium hardware and considerably narrower necks. Besides the L9-E, there`s also L10-E (series` flagship model). L9-E comes in with a non-cutaway classical body made of solid mahogany (back, side and top are all made of solid mahogany) and a glued-in neck also made of mahogany. The neck is topped with a 19-fret ebony fingerboard (1.75" wide bone nut, side dot markers, classical frets). The star of the electronics unit is the famed Fishman Sonitone preamp. It delivers stunning performance, while also being super easy to use and get used to. Fixed rosewood bridge and Grover Sta-Tite tuners complete the specs list.
