Mini O is a part of the magnificent Mini series of Cordoba`s travel-sized classical guitars. Despite their resemblance to the ukulele range, Mini M, R and O are, actually, six-stringed classical guitars with short scales and full-sized necks. Bodies of these models are also made to fit the shortened scale (all models come with a short 20" scale). Mini O is the most exotic of the bunch, as it features ovangkol back, sides and top (ovangkol top is solid, just as the Sitka spruce top is solid on the Mini M and Mini R models). Super thin matte finish is applied over the natural (the only available) color. Top is decorated with a simple rope-patterned rosette found around the sound hole, and rosewood binding. Rosewood is also used for the non-standard six-saddled bridge (Cordoba`s luthiers have figured the classical bridge would have taken up too much space), as well as for the fingerboard. Neck on this model (and other two Mini models) is made of mahogany, and its topped with an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard. Open-gear tuners are installed on the headstock, wrapping up the list of features and appointments. Mini O comes with two tuning options - standard E or A (ADGCEa).
