CDN-90 is the series` only nylon-stringed model and it comes with a standard concert-shaped body with no cutaways. It`s back and sides are made of laminated mahogany, while the top panel is made of laminated spruce. Spruce is the second most popular top option for nylon-stringers, with cedar being number one. This spruce top is bound in natural binding and finished in high gloss polish. Also, it features a classical rosette around the sound hole. In the bridge section, Fender installs a standard-shaped bridge which is made of rosewood. There are no electronics featured on this model. Neck is made of nato wood and it is attached to the body with a set-in joint. It is topped with a rosewood-made fingerboard with 19 frets.
