Classroom model is a classical guitar made for beginners and players who want an affordable and reliable nylon-stringer. It is fully acoustic and comes with non-cutaway body. Classroom is made of rosewood and spruce. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is on the top. Top panel of this model is equipped with black binding and standard classical rosette. There is no pickguard on this model. Traditionally, classical guitars do not feature pickguards. Also, there are no electronics installed on this nylon-stringer, as Lyons opts to go purely acoustic. Bridge section is a traditional one, as it features a standard-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of maple and it features a standard 12th fret dovetail joint. 19-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
