HC 504 is the top model from Hofner`s Carmencita series. This line is assigned the task of taking care of classical acoustic guitars labeled with 500 tags. HC 504 is a non-cutaway guitar with body made of mahogany and cedar. Mahogany comprises back and sides, while the cedar is placed on top as the sound board. Through a dovetail joint this body is connected with a mahogany-made neck. Dovetail joint is set at the 12th fret of the 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Neck is equipped with standard contour and gloss finish in the back. Body is also finished in gloss, but is also equipped with multi-ply binding and classical rosette. There is no pickguard installed, nor is any type of electronics installed. Hardware is plated in nickel.
