HZ 25 is one of the models from Hofner`s HZ series of classical acoustic guitars. HZ 25 is a standard non-cutaway classical guitar with body made of mahogany and cedar. Mahogany is used for back and sides, with cedar on top. This model is available only in natural color and it`s finished in high gloss. Hardware installed on this nylon-stringer is plated in gold, as it is tradition with classical guitars. Tuning pegs on the headstock are arranged in a standard three-a-side pattern. Top panel is bound in several layers of binding and equipped with a classical rosette. Bridge is made of rosewood and it`s equipped with a standard contour. Mahogany is Hofner`s favorite neck material and this model is one of the examples. Rosewood-made fingerboard has 19 frets with no inlays.
