Hofner`s Master series of classical acoustic guitars is the top series in it`s section of the catalog. Hofner uses best materials and employs best luthiers for these guitars. Series contains only fully acoustic and non-cutaway designed guitars and HM 65Z is no exception from that rule. It`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with cedar sound board on the top. This beauty has stylish and elegant decorations around and on the top panel. Several layers of binding wrap the top and classical rosette sits on it. There is no pickguard installed on this model, as it is tradition for classical guitars to go bare-topped. Mahogany-made neck has 12th fret dovetail joint and regular back contour. Fingerboard has 19 frets, no inlays and flat radius. It`s made of rosewood.
