Altamira is a series of classical guitars with shortened scales. This type of instruments is very convenient for classical guitar students of younger age and players of shorter stature who find the regular sized classical guitar too big or uncomfortable. HG 703 is one of four models offered under the banner of Altamira and only 701 is beneath it. It comes with non-cutaway classical body made of bubinga back and sides with cedar sound board on top. multi-ply binding and classical rosette are accompanied by high gloss finish and nickel-plated hardware. Bridge section comes with a standard-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Mahogany-made neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 12th fret. Rosewood fingerboard has a total of 18 frets.
