DR500 and DR500CE are basically the same model, with the difference being DR500CE has a single cutaway and electronics. Other than that, their specs match to the tiniest of details. DR500CE has an electronics unit made up of under-saddle piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp. It is available in natural color with glossy finish. Elegant appearance of this dreadnought is complemented with multi-ply binding, triple circle rosette and chrome-plated tuners made by Grover. Body on this dread is, as on it`s base model, made of rosewood back and side panels with a spruce-made sound board on the top. Bridge section is equipped with a regular rosewood-made bridge. Mahogany-made neck features a 14th fret dovetail joint and rosewood fingerboard with a set of 20 frets.
