DK500CE is an acoustic-electric variant of the DK500 dreadnought guitar from the 500 series made by Hohner. Letter K"" in it`s name suggests that the body is made entirely of koa wood on this steel-stringer. "C" and "E" tell that this one is also an acoustic-electric guitar with single cutaway design. Electronics department consists of an under-saddle piezo pickup and belonging side-mounted preamp. As the rest of the series features, so does the DK500CE feature natural color with glossy finish as it`s only one. Bridge is still made of rosewood with a regular bridge contour. Mahogany-made neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the steel-stringer`s standard 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard sports 20 frets with abalone inlays.
