As a brand with excellent planning and market accommodation, Hohner quickly realized the strength and potential of dreadnought-dedicated series. And, thus there is the 500 series. DR550 is a fully acoustic guitar with non-cutaway design. Hardware of this steel-stringed guitar is plated in chrome and finished in glossy finish. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with a cedar-made fingerboard on the top. There are no electronics featured on this model, whatsoever. Mahogany neck is made of a single piece of wood and it carries a rosewood fingerboard on the top. Also, upon the headstock, it has a set of Grover tuners.
