Dreads are the most popular and most common acoustic guitars with steel strings. Their large, but comfortable shape and formidable tone make them instant favorites when compared to the most of other guitar shapes. ES Dreadnought from Hohner`s Essential series is one classic example of a quality dreadnought guitar. It comes with a body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. This model, like the rest of the Hohner`s Essentials is available in natural color with thin layer of satin lacquer finish. Bridge section is equipped with a rosewood-made bridge. Electronics department is non-existent on the models of this series. Neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets with dot inlays.
