For those who seek more from a guitar named essential, Hohner has prepared a sub-line of Essential Plus models. This group of guitars is led by the Essential Plus Dreadnought model, which comes as a non-cutaway dreadnought with completely acoustic construction. It`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on the top. Top is bound in natural binding and equipped with a single circle rosette. Natural color is the only option and it is finished in satin lacquer. Bridge section is equipped with a rosewood-made bridge. As for the hardware, Hohner installs a set of six die-cast tuners with chrome plating. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. 25-1/2" scale wraps the specs list.
