No Essential series could ever be complete without a jumbo-shaped guitar. For this very shape dominated a period of history of steel-stringed guitars right before the appearance of dreadnought. They share the throne ever since. However, this jumbo comes with a prefix in it`s name and it says "Mini". This jumbo`s body is slightly down-sized, but the scale remains full 25-1/2". Mahogany is used for the back and side panels, while the sound board is made of spruce. This is the most popular combo of tone woods. Electronics department is left vacant on this model, as Hohner luthiers intended it only for unplugged play. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets with dot position inlays.
