Essential Plus is a a sub-division of Essential series made by Hohner. These models are made for the players who look for something more in a guitar named Essential. Thus, the Essential Plus Parlor is the second parlor guitar in the series. This is over a century old body shape which managed to survive along with jumbo and dreadnought, which are dominating last several decades. Essential Plus Parlor features a fully acoustic body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. Bridge section is equipped with a standard rosewood-made bridge. There are no electronics installed on this steel-stringer. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. This neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 tot-marked frets.
