AEG10 II is a new acoustic-electric model from the AEG series of acoustic guitars made by Ibanez. This series offers affordable guitars with decent quality. It aims at players who are searching for quality and affordability in one guitar. For 2013 it`s been updated with two new guitars and AEG10 II is one of them. AEG10 II is the successor of the original AEG10 and it brings improvements on several fronts. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and side panels with spruce sound board on the top. Top panel is decorated with abalone binding around the edges and abalone rosette around the sound hole. Bridge section is a standard one, featuring a belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. Electronics are made by Fishman. Sonicore pickup is combined with Presys preamp. Controls are found on the preamp console. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a standard 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Die-cast tuners and 25" scale complete the specs list.
