AEG10NII is the successor of the highly successful AEG10N model. It comes with similar features and appointments, though it does feature some improvements introduced for 2013. This is most obvious in the construction and playability areas. AEG10NII is a fully hollow and single-cut guitar with acoustic-electric construction. Fishman Sonicore pickup is paired with an Ibanez preamp. Controls section features volume, tone and tuner controls. Bridge on this new AEG10 is solid, made of rosewood and equipped with the standard belly contour. Bridge is matched with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard installed on the neck. Fingerboard is bound and features dot position inlays. Beneath it, Ibanez installs a mahogany neck with dovetail joint. On the headstock, a set of die-cast tuners is installed. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce sound board on the top. Top panel is bound in several layers of binding and decorated with single-circle abalone rosette.
