AW400 is an intermediate dreadnought from the 2014 lineup of the Artwood series. It comes with a non-cutaway variant of the body with vintage styling and classic construction features. Fully hollow and fully acoustic body of this model is made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce sound board on top. This is one of the most classic and well known tonewood combinations on the market. Strong and tight low end of the mahogany is well complemented by Spruce`s snappy response, which creates a sense of balance. This benefits both the strummers and finger pickers. There are two color options available for this model, the standard Natural High Gloss and Brown Sunburst Gloss. Both are finished in gloss and fit with chrome-plated hardware. Also, both variants feature tortoise binding. Bridge on the top is made of rosewood and equipped with a compensated bone saddle with Advantage pins. There are no electronics installed on this model. Neck is made of mahogany and is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. On it`s top, there is a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
