Ibanez Artwood range is the home of some of the most popular acoustics and acoustic-electric guitars ever built by Ibanez. Also, it is the most successful acoustics range with Ibanez badge ever. For 2014, it`s lineup is being completely overhauled with a multitude of new models. One of them is the brand new AW400CE, an acoustic-electric dreadnought with classic construction, vintage styling and combined Ibanez/Fishman electronics. Tortoise binding around the top, tortoise pickguard and abalone rosette decorate the top. Bridge is solid, fixed and made of rosewood. It has a compensated bone saddle with Advantage pins. Fishman Sonicore pickup and a side-mounted Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp comprise the electronics. Neck on this model is made of mahogany. It features series standard width, radius and back contour. On it`s top, Ibanez installs the regular 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and bone nut.
