Jay Turser Guitars is one of many brands owned and managed by Davitt & Hanser which is, in turn, a division of JAM Industries. Mandolins series is a part of Jay Turser`s popular Bluegrass range (Resonators and Banjos series also exist). It boasts four models (all four in lower intermediate/intermediate classes), JTMN-30 S being one of them. Main features of this super-affordable eight-stringer include an A-style body (simple styling, twin "f" holes, mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, white binding), glued-in maple neck, traditional construction, and stock hardware. Natural (w/satin finish, chrome hardware, abalone headstock inlay) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (mandolin frets, abalone inlays), wooden bridge w/trapezoid tailpiece, and vintage tuners.
