Luna catalog has been reinforced with many new models for 2012 and five of them belong to the Americana series. All of these new models were shown at the NAMM Show this January. Americana is the series which draws heavily on the tradition of American acoustic guitars from prewar period and it offers affordable solutions for players who love vintage sound and looks. AMM 100 is a grand concert cutaway model with a body made of rosewood backs and sides and solid spruce top. This flat-top acoustic-electric features wood binding in combination with a beautiful and ornate rosette. There are no pickguards featured on this model. The only color option is natural with gloss finish on top and satin on back and sides. The bridge is, as on all of Americana models, made of ebony and equipped with belly shape with white string pins and white saddle. In the electronics department, B-band pickup and preamp combo takes care of the amplification. The preamp has a side-mounted control panel with three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase switch and tuner. The neck is made of mahogany and connected to the body at the 14th fret. The ebony fingerboard features 20 frets with moon phase inlays and 1.6252" wide string nut.
