2012 brings lots of novelties to the Luna catalog with five of them being situated in the Americana series. Americana is the line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars inspired by the rich American heritage and guitars from the golden age of acoustics. The series features all of the major body styles, and AMP 100 is a cutaway parlor model with body made of rosewood back and sides and solid rosewood top. This acoustic-electric guitar features a flat top and multiple layers of wood binding around it. Triple circle rosette and tortoise pickguard complete the vintage looks of this guitar. Natural color with gloss finish is the only option available for this model. The bridge on AMP 100 is made of ebony. It has a belly shape, white set of string pins and a white plastic saddle. In the electronics area, B-band electret pickup with a preamp take care of the amplification. The on-board control panel is mounted on the side and has three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase switch and a tuner. The neck is made of mahogany with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and 1.6252" wide string nut. 25-1/2" scale and chrome plated hardware complete the list of specs for AMP 100.
