00 is Martin`s own designation for a small-bodied guitar slightly bigger than the 0 and smaller than 000. Body shape is similar to the bigger 000, but 000 has wider and deeper body. 00-18 V is situated within the Vintage series of the Martin catalog, a line dedicated to recreating the tone and feel of prewar acoustic guitars. 00-18 V is a fully acoustic guitar and it`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board. compact and comfortable body of this model is paired with an excellent hardwood neck with V contour and satin finish in the back. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.75" bone nut. Bridge is also made of ebony. This model comes with solid tone woods used for the body and neck.
