D-BOAK is one of the several currently active Custom Signature Editions series models. Like the rest, it will be made in limited quantities, and with top-class tonewoods, hardware, electronics, and experience. D-Boak costs $2,000 (which is not that expensive for a Martin signature model). D-BOAK is one special dreadnought guitar; it is a non-cutaway model, with reverse top, non-cutaway dreadnought body, 25-2/5" scale, 14th fret dovetail joint. Core construction features include genuine mahogany back & sides, "reverse braced top" (solid Sitka spruce), regular bracing under the top, select hardwood neck (modified low oval profile), and 20-fret ebony fingerboard (dot inlays, 1-3/4" wide bone nut). Other notable features include a solid ebony bridge (compensated bone saddle), and open-gear tuners.
