I bought my Martin M38 in 1986 directly from the factory outlet. I am appreciating it now, after I had it tuned up and strung properly by a pro shop, here in Italy where I live now. In fact it did not keep the tuning properly and was quite hard playing. With higher gauge strings it is perfect now , and sounds a lot louder.
