Martin Guitars Standard Series is the main series of the catalog and is reserved for solid wood instruments of high quality. The series traits include: all solid woods, polished gloss finish and hand fitted dovetail joints. The MMV is a non-cutaway dreadnought model made of spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The top is flat and finished in natural gloss. Neck on this model is made of select pieces of hardwood and equipped with a hand fitted dovetail joint positioned at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features 20 frets with dot position markers and 16" fingerboard radius. The bridge on MMV is made of solid ebony with white pins. Other features include: 25-1/2" scale, chrome hardware and tortoise pickguard. The list price is set at $2,799.
