Mitchell`s Element series offers affordable, versatile, and very well made acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Three dreadnoughts and one auditorium model make up the series` roster, with the most affordable of them selling for only $250. Fishman electronics, solid tops, versatility, and great build quality summarize the Element line pretty well. ME2CEC is the series` flagship model. It is an acoustic-electric dreadnought with a cutaway body, 14th fret dovetail joint, and minimalist styling. Natural (w/open pore finish, abalone inlays, flame maple binding) is the only available color option. Main construction features include Indian rosewood back/sides (laminated), solid cedar sound board (double rosette, black pickguard), mahogany neck, and 20-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. ME2CEC also features a fixed rosewood bridge, Fishman INK3 electronics and die-cast tuners.
