Norman Guitars is one of several guitar brands based in the Canadian town of La Patrie, Quebec. Like the rest of the local brands, Norman has its entire output made in La Patrie. Locally sourced tonewoods are heavily used, which means an abundance of wild cherry and silver leaf maple. Studio series is Norman`s flagship line, offering all-solid models (mostly dreadnoughts). B50 is a fully acoustic dread, made with a non-cutaway body (solid mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top), 14th fret dovetail neck joint, stock hardware. Natural (w/high gloss finish, creme binding, tortoise pickguard) is the only available color option. Other important features include a mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.72" Tusq nut, 24.84" scale, 16" radius), fixed rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
