BR-240 is a model from the highly acclaimed prewar series made by Blueridge Guitars and it comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought contour of the body. Even though it is the basic model of the series, it offers big sound and great craftsmanship quality. Back and side panels are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. This classic combo guarantees good and strong tone, especially when combined with dread and jumbo. Top panel is decorated with black binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette. Natural color of the wood is the only color option available and it comes finished in high gloss. Bridge section is equipped with a belly-contoured ebony bridge which is matched with a 20-fret fingerboard made of the same material. Neck on this model is made of a single piece of mahogany.
