BR-60AS is one of several BR-labeled dreadnoughts from the Blueridge`s Contemporary series. Models from this series are mostly affordable and well under $1,000. There are few models over $1,000, but BR-60AS is not one of them. This one comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of rosewood and spruce. Top panel is decorated with white binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette around the sound hole. This model comes with Sunburst as it`s main color option, unlike the vast majority of Blueridge`s models. This Sunburst color scheme is beautifully done and finished in high gloss lacquer. Bridge section is equipped with a regular belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
