LGD-18G is an affordable dreadnought guitar from The Great Divide catalog. It comes with fully acoustic construction and it sports a non-cutaway body. Body of this model is made of sapele back and sides and spruce sound board. Sapele is known as one of the substitutes for mahogany. They have similar tone properties and sapele steps in where mahogany is too expensive to apply. Spruce is the most common steel-stringer sound board. On the inside of the body spruce bracing is featured. Maple binding and single circle rosette decorate the top panel of the body and give it a modern vibe. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s attached to the body with a dovetail joint and it`s topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets and dot inlays complete the fingerboard.
