Fusion is a line of exclusive acoustic guitars, of mixed nylon-string and steel-string heritage. All models (currently there are two of them) feature nylon strings, 14th-fret neck joints and 20-fret fingerboards. Bridges and headstocks (and tuners) are inherited from the classical side of the family. Fusion 120CN comes in with a single-cut body (either small or auditorium), made of east Indian rosewood back & sides and cedar top. Pear binding and discrete wooden soundboard are the only decorations. The neck is made of mahogany and it sports an ebony fingerboard on top (1.73" nut, side dot inlays). 1-20CN is a completely acoustic model, though Avalon offers six different pickup variants for players who fancy acoustic-electric nylon-stringers. Rosewood bridge, Avalon AXE bracing and gold-plated hardware complete the specs list.
