C1M 1/2 is a half-scaled student model from Cordoba`s brand new Protege line. It is a scaled-down version of the C1M model which is also a student-grade guitar. There are also 3/4 and 1/4 versions available. C1M 1/2 is there for all of the beginners and youngsters who find the full-sized thing too big and hard to handle. Shorter scale, smaller body, and shorter fret distances make up for a lot easier playing experience. Natural (w/polyurethane finish, black ABS binding, classical rosette) is the only color option. Main construction features include mahogany back/sides, spruce sound board, mahogany neck (classical profile), and composite fingerboard (19 frets, flat radius, 22.8" scale, 1.875" composite nut). Other notable features include a fixed composite bridge and Cordoba`s stock tuning pegs.
