C1M belongs to the recently established Protege series, Cordoba`s brand new student range. It is one of three full-scaled models and, like the other two, it is also available in alternative sizes (3/4, 1/2, 1/4 options are available). C1M starts off with a non-cutaway body (full-sized body, fan bracing, black ABS binding), glued-in neck (dovetail joint at the 12th fret), basic hardware, and fully acoustic construction (no electronics). Like with the rest of the lineup, Natural is the only available color option. Main tonewood/material appointments include mahogany back/sides, spruce top (classical rosette), mahogany neck (classical profile, 3+3 headstock), and composite fingerboard (19 frets, flat radius, 2.05" composite nut). Fixed composite bridge and Cordoba`s stock tuning pegs complete this nylon-stringer.
