1NE is among the most basic classical models featured in Jose Ramirez catalog. As opposed to the professional and semiprofessional models, 1NE comes in with a fixed set of features and appointments, the only exception being the electronics and MIDI options. 1NE is a standard-sized classical guitar, with six nylon strings, standard 25-3/5" scale, 12th fret neck joint and flat-top body. Back and sides of the non-cutaway body are made of laminated Indian rosewood, while the top is made of solid red cedar. The neck is made of cedar and sports a standard 19-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Electronics options include Fishman and Scherter pickups and preamps. MIDI equipment is also available, though not included into the basic specs list. Regular rosewood bridge and high quality tuning pegs complete 1NE.
