Yamaha`s School series is a home to some of the brand`s most affordable nylon-string guitars. As the name of the series suggests, School models are made primarily for young students of classical guitars, beginners, and players on a tight budget. Currently, the roster contains only three models, with CGS103AII being the middle option. It costs $211.00, which is only $10 less than CSG104AII (the only full-sized model on the roster). 103AII`s main features include a non-cutaway classical body (meranti back & sides, spruce soundboard), 22-4/5" scale, stock hardware, and electronics-free construction. Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware, black binding) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a nato neck, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, fixed (classical) rosewood bridge, and classical tuners.
